"I would just urge all supporters to get behind the team at home, because I think the nerves of the crowd and the little bit of booing before half-time is unsettling the players, it's not helping you know. It doesn't spur them on to play well, it destroys their confidence. So I would urge every supporter, if you can't get behind them and applaud them, don't come because we don't need it you know.
But the away supporters they've been absolutely wonderful and that's the support we want and sometimes you're going to lose and you still need that support."

He has a point to an extent, but you'd expect anyone receiving x amount of thousands of pounds a week to be professional enough to get on with their job and do it to the best of their ability regardless.

Maybe if he didn't bang on about breaking in to the top six, the fans won't have such high expectations of outplaying the likes of Leicester and Bournemouth at home.

He has a massive point. Always been 100% against booing.
Yes, you pay the money and you have the right. But that doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.
No good has EVER come from booing. Yes, it vents a bit of frustration, but it is bad for the team you're meant to be supporting.
